Game 4- 1:15 pm at Ida price Track for Championship game or 2:30 pm at Ida Price Field 3 for Consolation game

Hi all,

The jamboree is the weekend of Nov 8th and 9th. We'll be playing two games on Sat, and one or two games on Sun. All previous years we've played two games on Sunday, so it's safe to assume the same will happen this year.

The team fee is $135, which is $9 per player.

We need one parent volunteer to set-up or take-down goals, and two parent volunteers for various other help. Please let me know asap if you can help with one of these, I'd like to get these spots filled right away.

Last year the girls did fantastic, I can't wait to see how they'll do this year!

Here is info in case of rain this weekend.

This is for the Central Valley League only,

As you may know the weather person as predicted rain for Saturday. This causes confusion for some of our referee's as to what to do. I hope this email will guide you in the right direction.

Field coordinators will be assessing fields first thing in the morning and then reporting back to the head field coordinator whether or not the game be played. This information will be posted on the web site (www.cvysl.org) I would make sure you check this website before leaving to your game.

What happens if it rains during the game......
Continue to play the game. If the rain becomes to much and it becomes unsafe for the players and/or it is going to damage the field then you need stop the game. You then need to call me on my cell phone, it is posted on the website.
If at any time there is Lightning you need stop the game.

Please keep in mind that although it might be raining where you live it might not be raining at the field. Unless you see on the website that the field is closed you need to assume that your game is going to be played.

Once a field is closed it is closed for the rest of the day. It will not reopen. So, if you see that a field is closed at 9:00 am it will still be closed at 2:00 pm even if the sun is shinning at 2:00 pm.
